Genealogy Collection

The Bertha Bartlett Public Library houses a small collection of local genealogy materials, including an index of obituaries which give the date of the obituary and pages in the Story City Herald (or prior publications)for easier searching.  The link to the searchable Story City Herald is below. Many of our materials reflect the area's Scandinavian heritage, but also include early immigrant information. The collection includes cemetery records and access to local newspapers via microfiche.
